A symbolic image showing a journey from darkness to light with God. One side features a stormy, rain-filled landscape, while the other side reveals a radiant sunrise. A person kneels in prayer near an illuminated cross, representing hope and God’s presence.
Through the storm to the light—God’s presence brings hope and healing in the darkest times.

Through the Darkness to Light 🌑➡️✨

In the shadow of despair, I knelt alone,
The weight of grief, a heart of stone.
Questions echoed, “Why, O Lord, why?”
Tears fell fast, as storms raged in the sky.

The silence deafened, no voice to hear,
Loneliness whispered, fed every fear.
The cross seemed distant, a dim-lit flame,
I cried out, trembling, calling His name.

But then, a glimmer, faint and small,
A ray of hope began to call.
A gentle voice, not loud, but clear,
“I am with you; I’m always near.”

Through the kindness of a friend’s embrace,
In every call, in every face.
The storm still raged, but light broke through,
A reminder: “I will carry you.”

The cross now shines, a radiant glow,
His love sustains, this I know.
From brokenness, beauty takes its place,
Grief turns to hope through His boundless grace.

So take heart, dear soul, the night won’t stay,
The dawn is coming; He’ll light your way.
Through the darkest valleys, He walks beside,
Your pain, your tears, He will not hide.
