From Rejection to Restoration
A Boy’s First Rejection
I built up the courage, my heart on the line,
To ask a sweet girl, “Will you be mine?”
She smiled so gently, but the words cut deep,
A simple “No”, a wound I’d keep.
Yet there she was, laughing that night,
With friends at the game, bathed in bright lights.
Not good enough—her silent decree,
A whisper that echoed: What’s wrong with me?
The Marriage That Wasn’t Meant to Be
The first girl who stayed, I made her my wife,
Ignoring the signs, I walked into strife.
I knew in my heart, she wasn’t the one,
But I feared being alone more than what love had done.
Then one day, she walked away,
Found another, had nothing to say.
Divorced, alone, a father too,
A shattered dream, but God had a view.
Peter’s Tears & Christ’s Redemption
A disciple bold, a voice so strong,
Yet in fear, he proved himself wrong.
Three denials, the rooster’s cry,
A heart so broken, a desperate sigh.
But Jesus came, by fire and sea,
“Peter, do you still love me?”
Not cast aside, not turned away,
But chosen still, to lead, to stay.
How God Redeemed My Story
Through all my wounds, my shattered past,
God was working, weaving fast.
Not rejection, but preparation,
Not endings, but transformation.
For years I questioned, doubted, fought,
Wondered why I wasn’t what they sought.
But God had Wendy in His plan,
A love so pure, hand in hand.
Now I see, through all my pain,
God was shaping, not in vain.
What once felt like a bitter end,
Was grace in motion, love to send.
Your story isn’t over. Your rejection isn’t the end.
Let God rewrite your pain into purpose!
