Why Jesus Wept 💔🌿
He stood before the tomb that day,
Where sorrow’s weight in silence lay.
Though He knew His power to heal,
Still, the depth of love He couldn’t conceal.
He saw the tears, He heard the cries,
Compassion welled within His eyes.
Not just the death, but the pain it bore,
Drove His heart to weep once more.
Jesus wept, for love so pure,
Grief and loss He, too, endured.
In those tears, divinity shone,
A God who weeps, yet never alone.
If He could grieve, so can we,
For love’s deep roots, grief must decree.
But in His tears, there’s hope to find,
A Savior’s love, so intertwined.
So when your sorrow seems too great,
Remember Jesus, who faced this weight.
He wept for love, He wept for pain,
And through those tears, we find our gain.
