Walking with God: A Daily Journey Spiritual Journey

Walking with God: A Daily Spiritual Journey

Have you ever wondered walking with God truly means?

This phrase may sound poetic, but it’s far more than a spiritual cliché. Walking with God is about living each day with Him—knowing His will, worshipping Him in spirit and truth, inviting Him into your daily decisions, and experiencing a deep, personal relationship that changes you from the inside out.

For every believer, from the new Christian to the seasoned disciple, walking with God is both a privilege and a calling.

Each step of faith may look different, but God lights the way.

Why This Series Matters

We live in a fast-paced, noisy world. It’s easy to feel disconnected from God, unsure of His will, or caught up in doing for God rather than walking with Him. That’s why this series is so important.

In this four-part journey, we’ll explore the foundation of a genuine, growing walk with God. Each blog post will be biblically grounded, spiritually encouraging, and practical enough to apply right where you are.

Whether you’re looking for clarity in life’s decisions, longing to go deeper in worship, or simply trying to stay consistent in your spiritual walk—this series is for you.

What We’ll Cover

In this Walking with God series, we’ll dig into four key aspects of the Christian walk:

1. The Will of God

How do we know what God wants for our lives? This post will explore how to discern God’s will through Scripture, prayer, and surrender—and what it really means to walk in His plans rather than our own.

2. Worshipping God

Worship isn’t just something we do on Sunday. It’s a lifestyle. We’ll examine what true worship looks like, why it matters, and how to cultivate a heart of worship in everyday life.

3. Walking with God Daily

It’s easy to lose focus when life gets busy. This post will offer practical ways to stay close to God each day, develop spiritual disciplines, and keep your relationship with Him at the center of your life.

4. Knowing God Personally

God isn’t distant—He’s relational. We’ll dive into what it means to really know God, not just know about Him, and how that relationship transforms every part of who we are.

A Personal Reflection

I’ve experienced firsthand the steadying power of walking with God. Through painful seasons—like a difficult divorce, the grief of losing my grandmother, mother, and three sisters, and especially the heartbreaking loss of my wife, Wendy—God has been my rock. His presence has guided me when I didn’t know what to do. The Holy Spirit has comforted me when the tears wouldn’t stop. His faithfulness has carried me when I couldn’t walk on my own.

That’s what it means to walk with God. Not perfection. Just presence. Trust. Relationship. Step by step.

My hope is that this series will help you experience that same closeness—no matter what season you’re in.
